Tomato Pie


puff pastry
700 grams of mixed Tomatoes
 1 tbsp oil
 1 tbsp butter
 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
 1 egg
 half a teaspoon mustard powder
1tsp of sugar
1tbs of cream.


  1. 1.       First, in a little pan, we will make the sauce.
  2. 2.       On medium heat place the pan with the butter and add the mustard powder, sugar, oil, and vinegar let both the butter and sugar melt before taking off the heat.  wait for it to slightly cool down (about 5 min) and add the cream.
  3. 3.       Roll out the puff pastry out on a baking tray, if you want you can make little borders out of an extra layer of pastry. use water to attach them to the first layer of pastry.
  4. 4.       Cover the pastry with layered tomato slices and pour the sauce over the tomatoes.
  5. 5.       Paint the pastry with the egg wash and cook for 15 to 20 minutes at 395F
